Pros

• overall, a good place to work: no major complaints. • generally a lot of free time, which can be good for students if you are not easily distracted. • management at my location is wonderful: very kind and very hard working. • usually very quiet, you don't see many people. Occasionally, you will be busy, but it's a nice change of pace. • most of the hotel guests are pretty nice, even early in the morning when you would expect them to be grumpy. • I work the same 40 hours per week (11pm-7am) and I don't have to worry about my schedule changing.

Cons

• I am a college student who gets distracted easily, so it was a bit difficult to study sometimes. • working during the middle of the night takes a toll on your sleeping schedule/habits. • if you work alone, like I do, it can sometimes be difficult to get help from a manager in the middle of the night if there is an issue you aren't sure how to resolve. • some locations have a separate breakfast staff, but at my location, I prepare and set up everything for breakfast. The breakfast hostess cooks any extras that are needed and cleans up afterwards.
