Pros

Glassdoor is an option, maybe the only one, for employees or former employees to provide feedback to the company, especially negative feedback. If there were no problems there would not be any reviews at all, except positive, fake ones instigated by HR or management to attract new talent. A negative review indicates a problem or problems, multiple negative reviews indicate problems that haven’t been addressed, through the incapacity or unwillingness of the staff to address them. The only positive at Radiant is people, the small circle of colleagues and co-workers one can respect and value. They are nice, intelligent, quirky, supportive.

Cons

The software development management staff at Radiant is technically educated but demonstrates no management skills, doesn’t possess any knowledge of the software development world, its practices or standards, and has no business strategy to lead the team to success. What is the value of technical knowledge if there are no management skills? - None. Technical knowledge is good, but it is better to do the job you are paid for: to manage, lead, respect. It is to be hoped that the younger generation of managers is ready to learn, think and work outside the box, to be honest and to maintain professional pride.

Pros

Provides good experience fresh out of college, allows one to get to foot in the door to the metrology/optical industry, lots of exposure to different industries and workspaces

Cons

Poor pay, poor growth opportunities, no overtime pay but it was expected to work overtime, poor benefits and PTO, high overturn
