Interesting things you will work on and a good process

Management was horrible and bringing up problems made you a target to be be released

-Lunch rides are very accessible (close to burnaby mountain) -Good work/life balance -HR department hosts small events to improve company culture -Staff discounts -a marketing focused business -opportunities to go on rides with friends at lunch

-Upper/middle management very siloed (never heard/saw managers meetings). -Some managers seemed incompetent at managing and decision-making. -Incompetence is tolerated. -if not at manager level you are largely kept out of the information loop (this information would have helped you with your job). -Pace of development is very slow (low expectations) -very much a copy-cat industry, copy what an industry leader is doing, tweak it slightly, and you will stay afloat with your existing brand loyalty. -medical/dental coverage is below average -Largely a male environment. Alpha male ego was a common theme around the office. -President seems totally detached from the business operations. Saw the president once, during a town hall, during my time at Raceface -work culture is too relaxed, managers/directors provide little direction and oversight. - a marketing focused business -relatively high turn over from industry standard
