Good pension scheme and benefits. A reliable 9-5 job with relatively light work load and flexible deadlines. Creche on-site offering a good work/life balance for working-parents.
Cons
Lacks career prospects for ambitious people. Promotion is based on longevity, not on talent. The organisation lacks innovation and openness to new ideas or different points of view. This can feel very stifling and demotivating and means the organisation is slow, or even resistant, to change. Office politics can get in the way of efficiency.
