Pros

Having a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the drive t learn and adapt results in big payoffs. Inbound leads are abundant, and outbound sales commissions are lucrative. Matching 401k full suite of benefits

Cons

It is a hard industry and you have to be comfortable speaking with law enforcement and visiting them in person. It's not for everyone.

Pros

Brand new to the corporate world after 20 plus years of Govt service with almost no sales experience I was given an opportunity to prove myself. I'm enjoying being with a small rapidly growing company that my input is valued and I can make positive change. Being a smaller company I'm also getting to work with product development and help create things I've always wanted to have when I did the job. I'm enjoying the company of the people I work with, several reviews mentioned a toxic environment ... it doesn't even come close to the toxicity of Government work. Overall, I'm enjoying the work and the people and happy to be doing it.

Cons

Wearing several hats as a smaller company the work load can be overwhelming at times and a struggle to prioritize. As of right now the pay does not match the workload BUT I also realize that in sales it takes time to ramp up your pipeline and within due time I will be where I want to be.

Pros

The training foundation is solid—you’re prepared and trained before being thrown into the deep end. Salary plus commission: The more effort you put in, the better you become, and the more you earn. Coming from a career that didn’t necessarily reward proactive effort, I really appreciate the ability to increase my income by doing more, without having to log overtime. Mission-driven work: Being involved with law enforcement and first responders, helping solve problems, educate, and keep more people safe—ensuring they make it home to their families

Cons

You may occasionally work some weekends for events or training. It’s not frequent and not a huge deal, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re not coming from a corporate background.
