Great place to work - Anonymous employee RTD Construction Employee Review

I have been working with RTD for over a year and have seen the company growing not only in size of the company but in the way management runs the company. Employees are hired to run there part of the company and are reward for good work. I have worked for a few companies over the last 30 years and I can say this is one of the top 5 companies out there.

Need vision but no other cons at this time

Great Foreman and Super. Good pay Sometimes 4 day work weeks Knowledgeable team you can learn from Would hire inexperienced laborers and train them properly in all facets of the job.

Completing job sites early and joint other crews. Doesn’t seem like much but throws off your rhythm and chemistry after being with one set of guys for a year long project and suddenly being thrown in with other crews. Typical work place issues, by every Foreman or Super you will agree with or get along with. Some were not only nasty in how they would speak to employees but lacked the necessary know-how to hold the title in which they possessed. Not necessarily a Con but certainly a barrier when there are crews of Hispanic culture who only speak Spanish. Definitely necessary to brush up on Spanish language to be cohesive and eliminate issues when completing projects.
