Lots of fluff in the workplace (free coffee, drinks, snacks, workout facilities, company-paid "business trips", etc.) is nothing more than a pretty cover on an ugly book
Minimal work/life balance - the more hours you work, the more hours they expect you to work, with very little acknowledgement or appreciation (unless you are part of the Management "click")
Projects are not process or quality driven, they are schedule driven and a satisfactory product is acceptable as long as it is out the door on time
Being in a crisis control and reactionary mode is the standard, not the exception
Rewards and acknowledgements are given over and over to those who are closest to Executive Management or are part of the Management "click"
Great place to work until...you try to introduce new ideas, approaches, or efficiencies - then you're blacklisted as a "problem child"
