Pros

Apart from salary on time. There is nothing.

Cons

Tons! - a lot of politics. - senior management only cares about how you should only work. It is a big taboo to interact with people during working hours. - it is expected that you work for Atleast 10 to 11 hours. When the pay is only for 9.5 hrs. - no growth for juniors as the demographic is mainly of seniors. -Kiran, who is the director watches CCTV installed in pantry to keep a track, how much time an employee has spent while taking a break. It’s absolutely a sad working environment. - they don’t understand the concept of work life balance. Leaving on time is considered leaving early.

Pros

Hybrid to remote work very well accommodated, friendly people, in office environment superbly nice, even as an open office. Good mentoring, I really admire the way they promote it and think about it (in theory). Onboarding not rushed, which is amazing. Some educational opportunities. Parking off site. It is a place one might get valuable experience in short time.

Cons

They offer a supposedly great bonus package that turns out to be BS: the health coverage is only to 80% even when you meet the high (6-12k) deductible, 5year vested contributions that basically nullify their 401k, bonuses are not guaranteed. Too much corporate social stuff for me. People are great, and then they disappear from your contact list for no reason, because they get fired and the way this happens is like in the former East Block without as much as a word about it. Recent massive layoffs are a textbook case of how not to do this thing (did not impact me by the way but it did people working there for over 25years that I respected greatly). There was a massive traumatic event and no one talked about it, mature teams were decimated in an instant, and there was to tender from Management to make the surviving teams get over it apart from corporate social function that everyone opted out - no surprise there, I personally could not bring myself to office ever since. Management is dysfunctional, workloads irrational with half the staff twisting their thumbs and half working overtime. Overtime is expected but not compensated, and officially discouraged. They are really anal about time reporting. The project management system is insanely complicated and spread in at least two different platforms. Pay is low compared to what should be and unfairly variated between people of the same job label and experience. I heard a lot about hidden systemic racism and discrimination within their predominantly white Christian environment when I was there, literally from every non white non Christian person I met. This does not include the tech subcontractor that is based off Bangalore, with whom collaboration is a different type of challenge anyway.
