Pros

Compensation and there are some really wonderful people who work here that truly do their best to make a difference,

Cons

Micromanaging is beyond frustrating. We are so overwhelmed with reports that the ability to be present on property and with residents is almost impossible. This company values profit & their bonuses over people & employees. Your ability to move up in the company is based on who you know and not what you bring to the company.

Pros

The company is very big on promoting from within and actively encourages internal growth. There is a wealth of information available through the various courses they offer, which allows you to gain a significant amount of industry knowledge if you are self-motivated.

Cons

While the resources are there, the culture is very much "figure it out on your own." Leadership often points you toward the Knowledge Network rather than providing actual hands-on guidance or support. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency with clients; it often feels like you are "co-managing" rather than truly managing the asset because so much is withheld from the owners. It is also extremely difficult to move underperforming staff out, which creates a drag on the rest of the team.
