      Pros

      Small company with great employees and a relaxed work environment. We work hard from February through April, but have a light summer and fall schedule. It is very team orientated with friendly partners who are also excellent teachers and mentors. If you want a place to learn and grow ROR might be that place.

      Cons

      The tax season can be a grind, we are open six days a week and usually work 7 days a week for the three months. It is fast and furious.

      Pros

      - Everyone here is very open minded, liberal, and not uptight. It's not like any other firm I have worked at in that way - I work independently without someone looking over my shoulder. I am treated with respect and as long as I take care of my clients' needs in a timely manner, I am trusted to get my work done. - There are knowledgeable colleagues in the office I can go to for advice. I have had the greatest mentor of my professional career here at ROR. - Time/years of service necessary to being eligible to be a partner is much shorter than other firms I have been at in the past.

      Cons

      - Tax season is grueling.. Since my bonus is tied to my performance, I don't mind working extra hard to make extra money and since we are in Minnesota, it makes the worst months of the year go by really fast!
