Pros

RMT has a history of attracting very high caliber people.

Cons

Relationships dominate at RMT. If you have the right friend in the right place, you stand to make a lot of money regardless of your skill set or what you actually produce. If you don't have strong relationships with key people, you will find it very difficult to work there. Promotions and pay increases were given based on friendships rather than performance, innovation, output, adherence to profitability, or dedication to the company; only qualitative metrics were used in employee reviews cultivating this problem. People are also very territorial at RMT; it is uncommon for employees to share information and act cooperatively with each other; you're on your own and there is no training; don't expect your co-workers (or even some managers) to reply to emails or return voice messages, either. Company priorities were also chosen based on relationships. People with the strongest relationships got their projects/initiatives through even if other projects/initiatives stood a higher potential to garner more sales. It is also common for people to steal ideas and present them as their own.
