Pros

I have been at RLE over 4 years now, and this has been a great place to work! RLE has continued grow since I have been here. There is a sense of teamwork and good communication within and across all departments. Management has an “open door policy” and is supportive and quickly addresses employee and company concerns. The company also offers a very nice work-life balance. There is a generous corporate bonus plan, which we have made every quarter this year, and I have received multiple raises since I started here. Overall, my work experience at RLE has been nothing but positive. I would recommend to anyone looking for a small company atmosphere with great benefits and friendly coworkers.

Cons

The only con might be that this is a small company, so promotional opportunities can be somewhat limited.

Pros

Great people. Friendly and supportive culture with a focus on work life balance. Above average pay. Good benefits.

Cons

A lot of opportunities to do different things, but limited opportunities to move up due to the small size of the company.

Pros

Flexible work hours, kind blue collar employees

Cons

This used to be a fine place to work, but not any more. The disparaging way the newer owners talk about the most senior owner is indicative of the cultural rot of the company, and for long-term employees this is a sad devolution. The culture has become more patriarchal over time. As a result, it can be a difficult place to work as a woman. As an employee, I felt a disconnect from executive management. Any raise I received through my tenure was self-initiated. When raises were finally granted for myself or my employees, the amounts were symbolic rather than impactful, and even then there was clear resentment behind the amounts that were finally approved. Even during record-breaking years, the company doesn't support raises or any meaningful bonuses. Life’s too short to work for a company that no longer respects its employees.
