Pros

Good way to get sales experience when you cant get another job Managers are good people

Cons

You get assigned a company that you will make sales calls for (110 per day), some teams take half the day to make the calls and others have to work all day into night to get their calls done, but everyone gets paid the same. They describe it as a sales company but it is more like a call center because all you do is call leads and read a script that you have to follow otherwise you get scrutinized. Meeting will often start at 5pm and go til after 6, even though the job description says 8:30-5:30. They play your calls in front of coworkers, so this job isn't for the weak. No PTO til after your third month which means for have 3 days you have to use in your 3rd month, otherwise they go to waste. It is only a 4 month program. Remote workers don't get any equipment to sue so you have to pay for your own monitors, headset ect. and there is no stipend for that. Don't get paid base til a month after you start and commission 2 months after.

Our managers are deeply committed to seeing the success of their reps and we are glad that doesn’t go unnoticed! Regarding the cons listed – Most of these we feel we are overly transparent about during the interview process. This is a high-volume prospecting position and most entry level sales positions in SaaS look very similar. We take into consideration multiple factors when assigning individuals to different clients to give each person the best shot at success. We also put a lot of time and care when creating goals and commission structures so that everyone is on a level playing field. Sometimes the grass looks greener but we can assure you that all of the individuals are giving full effort to hit their goals. Pros

This is your best shot at a successful career in software sales. You learn a lot about the industry and get exposed to A BUNCH of different SAAS companies that you can join after you finish your 4 months at REVGEN.

Cons

The dials can be tough but you've got to start somewhere.
