Pros
Challenging, but very interesting and rewarding work. We design, build, and program custom automation equipment for an extremely wide variety of applications. Because the projects are so diverse, there is always something new to learn and some new problem to solve. Perfect for an engineering mind! Over the last four years I've seen the company steadily grow and adapt to this growth in an overall positive way. There have been some growing pains, but management has always been open to suggestions from employees for process improvement. There is also a very kind and collaborative culture, which is sometimes hard to find in a company.
Cons
Because of the nature of the work, sometimes timelines get crunched, which can be stressful. Also, the project management side is lacking in my opinion but improvements are being made now so fingers crossed!
