Got to know a market segment I was unfamiliar with and meet people from diverse backgrounds.
Cons
Trial and error at the biggest level I've seen, amateurishly so. A lot of Big5 hiring and name dropping, folks with hefty consulting experience, but little in the way of having made and executed decisions of consequence.
