Pros
- The concept is super cool and has potential - It is fun to tell people what you do, its a fun elevator intro - i learned so much and honestly, don't regret my time but I am glad i left when i did.
Cons
On multiple occasions, i have chuckled to myself thinking of my time at REEF. It's a joke really. REEF has (or had) deep pockets when I started. The salary was competitive, advancement opportunities left and right, and again, the concept was cool. Plus travel was included and with those deep pockets, we had some nice dinners. From the start, the work-life balance was terrible. Incredibly self-centered and harsh leadership. Not tactful, not supportive, and only in it for one thing - to grow the business as fast as humanly possible with the ultimate goal: to sell for a big buck. The goals are lofty and unachievable. It's a classic example of "if I ask them to produce 10,000 units and threaten their job, they may produce 100 which is more than this time last year at 25." Don't get me wrong, i like to stay busy and moving, but when the environment and culture are poor, it makes it unenjoyable. Once Ari gets a big ole' paycheck and sells the company or goes public, maybe then id consider going back. but under no circumstances would i return with the current leadership. And read this review knowing that i worked directly with leadership and experienced it all. Things started to get a little fishy towards the end. Layoffs, vendors not being paid, paychecks being shorted, Its not a company that gives you warm fuzzies. at least not as it stands today. i like to see the positives in things too so i am not certain that everyone had this experience. Its just mine.
