Chaotic corporate organization. Serious gaps between expectations set during hiring vs. realities found shortly after onboarding. Have seen and experienced fluidity in the workplace but this was on a whole other level. Way too much trial and error that's reflected in high turnover of executives, constant 'pivoting' in processes and/or teams structure, and employees getting let go on a whim. Concerning, considering the sort of company REEF aspires to be.
Uninspiring executive team.
Another reviewer here mentioned a WeWork type of vibe, and I agree. Both companies are in the Softbank portfolio, by the way, so the similarities are not pure coincidence.
Often people get hired because a certain executive likes them and/or due to having Big4 / Fortune 100 background, not necessarily to fill a real staffing need that has been identified and then having determined candidate is the right fit for the role.
