Pros

- HR team is super supportive and tries hard to get the employees what they need - used to be the culture but that’s changed in the last few years - verbally leaders say they care and that helps for a bit (the actions don’t match though for most)

Cons

I want to preface this with the fact that I didn’t always view the company like this and tried to see the bright side. But, over time, I’ve come to realize that working here is golden handcuffs and is really like having a toxic, abusive partner and it truly impacts your mental health. - constant direction changes - constant department restructuring for customer facing teams (about 3-4 changes in last 5 years only to end back up exactly to the way it was before) - inept people in leadership positions - cronyism with upper management - antiquated business views for both the customer and employees - discriminatory towards anyone who doesn’t fit the average corporate America “look” - lack of support with rampant sexual harassment potential from customers and leadership does nothing about it - poor interdepartmental communication that should be facilitated by the leaders so it ends up in inefficient time spent and dollars spent - unsafe environment for those who have any sort of disability (HR is great here but when left up to VPs, they are quick to cut someone) - short term vision which leads to constant org changes - lack of professional development (again, HR is trying their best here but since it’s up to VP discretion, it gets forgotten and they don’t provide any and then wonder why their consultants aren’t performing at the level they want them to) - unsafe feeling from retaliation of upper management because although they encourage you to speak up and share your thoughts, we have seen the leaders and teammates who have vocalized any criticism or calls for change either be terminated or “that person decided to retire” (this has only been a handful and not crazy rampant but that has put the fear in everyone) - customer facing departments are run from a space of fear and “prove yourself to me” type of mentality - layoffs posed as a result of the market but then we hear about a new initiative that requires lots of dollars - just be transparent and honest with us
