Pros

Benefits are great. Location. Mission isn't heavy or shouldn't be anyway. Interesting partners. Fun people came through the door often.

Cons

Where to start? CEO Frank Peterson is without question the most negative factor associated with this group. He's a complete narcissist and a bully. Sadly this is unlikely to change as the BOD is led by folks who care nothing for the organization beyond the benefits they accrue from RBFF programming. Complete lack of upward mobility - job titles mean nothing; you'll never get to control your own domain, it always ends up being the Frank show.

Pros

Friendly office, workload was reasonable. The contractors and freelancers are treated very well. I worked on a variety of communications writing projects. My contract was extended a few times and was asked to contribute some work on a freelance basis. Overall good experience.

Cons

The funding uncertainty makes it difficult for them to know how long they can keep someone on. It is out of their control, but they were upfront with me from the beginning.
