Pros

Friendly Office, lots of peer and technical support, fun social events, pretty transparent management, very approachable management

Cons

Nepotistic, run like a family business which limits innovation, clings to some backwards, inefficient systems that slow down work, no path to ownership/partnership or profit sharing.

2018 Update – RAND has come a long way in the past 6 years. Our base of “great people doing great work”, thank you for that, is now paired with exciting innovations. From our proprietary software which has streamlined how we run jobs, to a profit sharing and stock ownership plan that has resulted in more than 50% of our employees owning shares in the company, the naming of 3 new Partners, and employee reviews that focus on career development, we have maintained our family culture while increasing productivity, profits, and employee satisfaction.

Thank you for your feedback and we appreciate your 5-star rating, we try so hard to maintain RAND as a best place to work. As we have many employees who have been with us 10+ years, we do like to honor their loyalty with added perks, which are available to all employees when they reach a certain tenure. We will take a look at our policies, and perhaps the way they are communicated, as our goal is to reward our tenured employees, and hopefully show our younger employees the benefits of staying with RAND long-term. That being said, we still maintain a high standard in regard to productivity, and adhering to our policies and procedures, hold all employees equally accountable for meeting said standards.
