Pros
The work environment on the floor can be very challenging. When you work hard and complete the daily tasks it is also rewarding. People on the floor are great to work with. There is a pleasant atmosphere and good people.
Cons
A hostile work environment can be created by an employer. Case and point here at RS Automation INC. Many employees are given nicknames behind the scenes by leadership. Some include stinky, pokey, fatty, tattoo girl, and the like. Even though the employee may not know they are a target of the abuse it creates an atmosphere of constant harassment among the leadership team. Words hurt! Even when they are not targeted at you personally. Name calling and degrading remarks should not be in the workplace. It is totally unprofessional and childlike behavior. When such behavior comes from the highest position in the company it still should not be tolerated or repeated.
