Pros
The vast majority of people here are very friendly, kind, and hardworking. It is a diverse and welcoming environment, the company hires a lot of recent immigrants and helps them learn valuable skills. The company also puts a lot of money and effort into creating fun events for employees.
Cons
Incompetent, aggressive, and easily threatened managers who stunt growth within the company, it’s a massive open secret. There are a couple very disrespectful people who repeatedly push others out of the company with their hostility. Almost everyone I’ve talked to has stories to share about this and it is an eerily similar pattern. It’s a very sad situation and they are enabled because of their seniority and connections within HR. One of them was mentioned 5+ times by name in the google reviews, and instead of acknowledging the issue they told all their employees to spam reviews to push it down. I feel terribly for the recent immigrants who get this kind of treatment as an introduction to Canada because this is not normal or okay, and several have expressed the desire to leave but that they feel/felt trapped as newcomers trying to build their resumes. The company has an abysmal turnover rate that is actively worsening because of this toxicity. There is a vicious cycle in the office where people grow frustrated by the culture and poor/rude communication, they leave, and the remaining employees play musical chairs to cover those roles, which leads to poorer job understanding and communication, and so on. They need to do better because this is unsustainable.
