Pros

I recently heard this place is hiring again, nearly 3 years after the vast majority of the staff was let go. I will be very clear about a couple of things, starting with the single pro: The only reason this job was ever enjoyable was because of our team. My coworkers made me excited to come in and work on licenses we all loved. They were and are wonderful people, and the only reason we met each other was the same recruiter pulled us in at the very beginning of Quidd.

Cons

Constant burnout, zero work-life balance. 90 hour weeks were the norm, as we (content and design) were expected to work nights and weekends as well as double as the "support" team. The team did not expand from the start, with 1 real license, until well over a year and a half later despite acquiring dozens more licenses. Do not expect help no matter the growth or how fancy the investor name is. As a woman, I can confirm you will deal with all the stereotypes of being female in a male-dominated tech company. The majority of the staff was let go in 2018 in 2 mass firings a few months apart. The first saw 2/3 of the female staff go out the door - and one guy. It was noticed before execution and not addressed then or after. Is the subject matter a draw? Absolutely. Is the work environment and leadership worth it? Not by a longshot. You will not be heard and it's not worth the energy trying - people did and got nowhere except formally reprimanded or let go.
