Pros

Free food during employee lunch breaks

Cons

I have never met a company that lacked basic integrity more. How they have not been sued over and over by the people that they have unlawfully screwed over is beyond me. They violated every contract with any partner they had, and cared NOTHING about their customers and employees. The quality of the product went significantly downhill over time, but the prices for the product somehow went significantly up. The overall corporate strategy at QuickFresh is inconsistent and completely according to the whims of the CEO, who really truly doesn't know anything about properly running a company. He violated contracts, hurt the business's partners and external relationships, and asked employees to do ethically wrong things to try to protect his own butt when he knew he was in the wrong. He promised the entire coaching staff incredible bonuses if they put in a lot of work, and then after they put in the work he changed their job structure and never paid them the bonuses promised. He asked the marketing team during the holidays to work overtime and promised them incredible bonuses, and then didn't pay out the bonuses to them either. While I worked at this company, the CEO insulted several employees to other members of the team, not about their ability to work but about their weight and appearance, which is a vile practice of leadership. He said that there were people at the company that he trusted less to do their jobs because they weren't skinny. There are many things lacking in the remaining leadership at the company, including strategy, intelligence, basic human decency, and the ability to follow through. The remaining executives at the company know a lot about how to spend the company's money, and nothing about how to make it back. They thrive in creating a petty culture that is so toxic as a working environment, and fail to take accountability for any repercussions for their own poor decision making. I was shocked by how many people were laid off without warning, without severance, and without a single word from the CEO to explain why. He actually left the building to avoid confrontation because he is a coward that does not take accountability for his own failings. There is a lot I can say about how incredibly poor this experience was for me, but I will just say that I am grateful that I don't work there anymore, and that I wish their employees a speedy new job and their management a drastic change in personality and working ability.

Pros

Lower management was good. Paid very well because of poor budgeting.

Cons

As someone who worked there for almost 3 years, let me first say that lower management is great, it's anyone who is upper management that you need to stay away from! Jody Rookstool is a serial entrepreneur, with multiple failed companies under his name. He gets his "callings" from God and he has numerous "revelations" on what his next failed project is going to be. Not only does he not care about the lives he affects by hardworking people who deserve the money they are promised by him, he drags down good people by making them do his dirty work for him. This last company Just Meats failed horribly, and I can't help wonder that a big reason why it failed is because he is paying over $100K+ to his "buddies" that do not deserve it. Jody Rookstool is in debt to multiple companies, and come to find out he is over $3.5 mil in debt. In the time I've worked there, he's demanded management to cut corners, use old meat that has been in a freezer storage for half a year, cut hours and refuse pay to hard working people, and fire anyone who actually wants to be honest with their work. Not only is he corrupt, he's a liar, and he doesn't deserve to create any more businesses, as those will fail too. I was a loyal, hardworking asset to this company in the time I worked there, but that is no thanks to him. It's the management in the production building that made working there worth it. After I left the company in November, I have yet to receive my last paycheck that I worked for because the company shut down. He also doesn't pay his ambassadors, a huge reason why Just Meats even had any costumers to begin with, money that they deserve. I worked there for almost 3 years and I haven't met Jody a single time, he refused to go into the production building, except to show his future investors a walk through of the building. He refused to talk to any management, or show any gratitude to his hard workers that kept the company afloat the last 3 years. Jody Rookstool doesn't deserve any other businesses under his name. Stay away from him and any other of his friends who make companies again, because he for sure will burn it to the ground and lie his way to make himself a profit yet again.
