Pros

There are talented, dedicated people who deserve nothing but the best. Unfortunately, these people are quickly disregarded by the management team in favor of ineffective yes men and women who flatter the egos of incompetent and unscrupulous leadership.

Cons

In time of trouble, superb companies are judged less by how they operate when things go right than by how they handle situations when things go wrong. The company's completely horrific management of the COVID-19 crisis and, frankly, the months leading up to it are a prime example of why they are not a company that leads with integrity or competence. Talent, relationships, and skill are not important for success at Questex. It is not a place where innovation and dedication are rewarded or appreciated. The cheapest solution will always win out, much to the detriment of incredible people, clients, and brands.

Pros

lots of autonomy, you learn a lot, working remote is ideal and flexible, the oversight can be easy, the sales team is rewarded like Kings and treated as such, Allowed to be creative and innovative as long as it brings in money.

Cons

You learn a lot and they throw you into things quickly, but as soon as you get really good, they stop promoting you and keep you stuck. There is not a lot of upward mobility and the salaries are very low, bonuses are difficult to obtain and you do not set your own goals and cannot negotiate them. They speak of their values but do not live them or actually care, seems very performative. Unless you are on sales, nobody listens to you - money talks loudest here.
