Pros

Onboarding was fast, they do their best to answer any questions during the onboarding process which is done over Google meet, you will make money as with any other job or gig work.

Cons

Bare with me because there's so many cons. First let me say they gaslight you during orientation by showing you paystubs that don't even look like the paystubs that are from the actual pay app, the paystubs look like ADP but they use Paycom app. They tell you that you can make $1000-$1800/wk if you accept EVERY ORDER which is a lie. Flexibility there's none, I already have a full time job why do I want 2. If you pause the app for more than 5 minutes to take a break or go to the bathroom they message you like you did something wrong. Better not need to get in touch with management they will tell you to message in the chat and your message will be ignored. Also during orientation they will tell you about the reviews other people wrote but do their best to over explain that's not who they are, they are a bunch of thieves, they tell you not to pay attention to the money counter on the DD App n that Paycom is your TRUE PAY how?? When Paycom doesn't even show you the tax breakdown coming out of your check. Your first check might seem fine but after that you'll notice that your not getting your tips and the amount on your check will be less and less. This is a Wolf of Wall Street Company a ponsi scheme. As long as they can pinch $100-200/week from 50-60 drivers that's $5,000-$12,000/week in their pockets. Do the math or see for yourselfs. Also if you quit or get fired you can't sign up with regular Doordash for 3 months. I'm not lying. I'm lucky I found out before I put so many miles on my vehicle.

Pros

I guess tips in 1 to 2 days but even that is a lie as they can hold them hostage on you as they like to change policies almost daily.

Cons

The company is manipulative and predatory. Their advertising is a lie. You are paid 17/hr. The advertised amount is all based on badly designed metric system and other stuff that, at times, can change in the middle of a shift. They hire anyone with a pulse that responses because they can't keep people with how badly they manage and move goalposts. Lack of proper communication. They will give robot copy/pastere sponses, prevent you and other employees from conversing, and don't share your opinion or suggestions because "if you have an opinion keep it to yourself, you are employed at this company" is their moto straight from Jeff Butterhoff. Changes policies sometimes weekly, daily or even hourly. No joke this place does whatever, whenever. Everything from pays to bonus to tips being held over your head can changes like mentioned. They will treat you like a child and as if you are stupid. Long driver for low pay. They expect tips to balance but I have had many 10 and 12 mile trips for nothing then have to pay your own way back to your zone then penalize you on metric for utilization times. Their is no flexibility. They cry for hours because they hire ANYONE with a pulse. Their metric system is flawed as dd still hits you for thing dd removes and claims won't affect stats. You need a job and can afford trashing your vehicle's milage then take it but otherwise stay clear.

Pros

The onboarding process was fast and straightforward, which I appreciated as someone juggling multiple responsibilities. Training was paid and conducted clearly over Google Meet, led by Jeffery Butterhoff. We were introduced to tools like Carrier and Sling, and the emphasis on flexibility during training made the role seem like a great fit. I also liked that we kept 100% of our tips and were paid weekly—those were solid perks, especially for drivers familiar with platforms like DoorDash.

Cons

Unfortunately, the reality of the job didn’t match what was advertised. Shifts were extended from 6 to 8 hours without notice, and the flexibility I was promised disappeared. Communication from management—especially Jeff—was condescending, and questions in group chats were often deleted instead of answered. Perks like paid breaks and mileage reimbursement were removed or changed mid-week, and I was penalized for long-distance deliveries despite accepting every order. After asking about my schedule and utilization rate, I was removed from company communication tools without explanation. I reached out to John Mirabile and received vague responses, but no formal termination notice. The lack of transparency and professionalism made it hard to trust the leadership.
