Pros
The benefits are all there along with job security. The 401k retirement plan, disability, medical, dental, vision, time off with pay, and standard sick/bereavement policies work as expected.
Cons
While you have time off accrual, the ability to use it is limited based on the number of free employees within your department (specifically those who can do your work in your stead).
