Pros
We are encouraged to learn all the different areas of the office, from the time the patient enters the lab to preparing the specimens for transit. In that, my work experience has been very educational.
Cons
There is not specific trainer, you are thrown in the pool and taught to swim. Sometimes the consistency between offices differs greatly and is confusing from one office to the next.
