Pros
Good salary Nice benefits package Remote work
Cons
I'm not sure where to start. There are just so many arears that desperately need improvement. The CEO is abrasive and operates from a place of intimidation or fear. The motto of this company is "do it now or else..". I have felt very micromanaged, and for no reason at all. People will send you an email and then Slack you within the hour to get something done. There is no breathing room. No thank you's or appreciation, especially after putting in longer hours or rushing to do something. This company makes up arbitrary due dates and deadlines and then rushes everyone to meet the randomized dates. There are only 2 weeks of vacation time given, no exceptions. And you have to accrue it all. Not once were we ever told "it's a long weekend, take off early this Friday". The culture is not employee friendly, at all. No generosity around work/life balance. They expect you to not have a personal life. I have only been less happy at one other company, and that says a lot. I am even counting teenage jobs like Dairy Queen. I was treated with more autonomy when working there, when I was all of 16 years old....so there is that.
