Pros
I have been with QuantHub for a year and have learned so much in a short time. I have had the opportunity to develop an innovative educational program while also contributing to the growth of a startup company, learning about entrepreneurship, and expanding my knowledge of ed tech. My work has been rewarding, intellectually stimulating, and has allowed me to make a positive impact on students and my community. On top of all that, the company offers a remote/flexible work culture that has been ideal for me as a working mom balancing my career with raising a family. I have enjoyed the creative work environment and have appreciated being surrounded by a team that consists of some of the most passionate, smart, and helpful coworkers I've ever had!
Cons
Because the company is a startup (and growing and changing quickly), it may not be ideal for people who prefer a more structured organization and clearly defined role. I view the new company setting as really exciting and full of opportunities to expand my skillset and scope of responsibility. The size also means you will have a real influence on the company's growth and culture starting day 1 and will work closely with pretty much everyone on the team--something you likely won't experience at a larger organization. If you're proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about your work, you'll love working at QuantHub!
