Pros

I've worked for several startups and Quandl has been my best experience to date. The leadership really understands the market (having both worked in the industry for decades) and the products are ahead of competitors. The culture is quite relaxed and the people are all very friendly. The company's revenue has been doubling consistency and seems poised for a bright future in a growing market. Other pros: - Above-average salary - Great leadership - Excellent benefits program - Unlimited vacation - Team lunches and company wide lunches - Active social committee with regular company-wide events - Great location right next to Yonge/Bloor subway station - Diverse and accepting workplace

Cons

Like any startup you should be adaptable. Your role and responsibilities will never be set in stone and there will always be an underlying degree of uncertainty with many new product launches and rapid growth. In other words, there will be some "growing pains" and multi-tasking, but this should be expected for someone who wants to work in a startup.

Pros

- been in Toronto startup scene for 9 years now and this is by far the best experience I've had - great culture, smart/collaborative team, and environment is conducive to growth, challenges and autonomy - strong vision; Founders are intelligent and know their domain and industry well - we are doing some innovative and challenging stuff with data - great office space and location; fun social events to balance hard work; flexible hours - the only Toronto startup to be featured in Forbes Fintech 50 of 2018

Cons

- to succeed at Quandl you need to be adaptable as things are always changing which some people may not like - like any tech startup, legacy code, manual work, and flawed processes sometimes will slow us down
