Cons
If you are not friends or family with the CEO, you are a nobody. It doesn't matter how well you perform, how well you're qualified, or how much value you bring to the organization, you will not succeed. HR will not help you because they have ties to the CEO as well and have no power to reverse the nepotism shown here. The CFO and the Chief of IT are the primary executives who influence the CEO's poor decision making and both do not have the experience necessary to do their job. Their positions in the company are only a result of their relationship with the CEO. Family members are given preferential treatment despite severe lack in performance over workers who perform. It's a miracle this company is able to retain the business it has and, unless the nepotism is stopped, it will not succeed in the future.
