Pros

Fieldwork throughout United States, experience not necessary and some pay benefits

Cons

Do not need experience but little to no training. No consistency with rules or protocol. Hostile environment from top down. Blatant sexism. Micromanaging at one moment and hands off with no training the next. First meeting I watched the managers attack all the employees, put them on notice, and then hand themselves awards. Truly bizarre.

Pros

Nice office building and space. In Rapid City which is a great place to live.

Cons

Their m.o. is to hire newly minted grad students with little experience in CRM and make them P.I.s., with all the responsibility that entails. You are of course not paid what real P.I.s with 5+ years of experience make however but you are held responsible for all mistakes. This is terrible way to learn CRM and it has an overall degrading effect on our profession. Very few people stay with the company longer than 2 years. There are other serious issues. Toxic office culture (surveillance cameras to watch employees at their desks, unclear rules, terrible management communication, staff treated like children), and questionable archaeological practice (inevitable when all your P.I.s are inexperienced). Lots of cell tower projects. Focus on quantity over quality. Very low employee morale. Attitude is that anyone can be taught to do anything.
