Pros

Simple Job if you have some talent. The call is scripted, so it is really a voice personality position, rather than actual sales. Great training; Zephen really knows his stuff and is always willing to teach you, if you have the interest.. His training will sharpen your skills and get you to bonus level. As GM Mike White always said: It's not rocket science. If you're not hitting bonus right out of the gate, there are other positions sometimes available more suited to your skills.

Cons

Management insists on work environment being unnecessarily chaotic. Blaring, angry rap music and a noisy rave/night club environment, with managers and team mates yelling over it, instructing workers to stand, sit, stand, sit, and generally breaking concentration of serious professionals who are trying to focus on listening to customers, and maintain a calm courteous demeanor in order to read them, and repond correctly in order to make sales and bonuses. Rookies get the candy, the fresh material first. The senior reps and high rollers get the list after it's gleaned. Be prepared for 80% of your customers to be hostile; your deescalation skills will be vital to your paycheck .

Pros

They try to motivate their people. The script is easy to follow and the sale is very simple and easy compared to most sales. You don't have to clock in and out for Talk time. It is a great entry level for someone who has never sold before. I just started Night Shift and in my first week I was Top Sales man. That is how easy it is.

Cons

Employees constantly complaining about the job. They just don't get it they are there to make the sale, read the script word by word and make the customers happy. When I first started many came to me and said you don't make bonus here but I have and doubled or tripled my bonus. If you start here come with the attitude you are a winner don't listen to all the negatives and don't believe that you loose sales from verifiers/closers that is not true. The only other thing I hate is Dropping someones pay because they are sick or had an emergency at home is the worst part of this process so if you worked your butt of all week and get sick and call in you loose all your bonuses and spiffs, and your pay drops to minimum wage seems wrong...It also seems illegal.
