Not a good company to work with - Senior Software Test Analyst Qual IT Solutions Employee Review

Nice and fun people. Various projects across multiple industries.

Not very competitive salary. No salary increase for years. Some projects are not challenging and do not compliment one's testing skills and experience (but in all fairness, this is just normal and testers will just have to be flexible). You will have to apply internally to be promoted to a higher position instead of them just recognizing your accomplishments and work, which is the true essence why you're getting promoted (means you've already proven it and you don't have to compete anymore with other colleagues for the position).

I started working at Qual IT as a performance testing graduate and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities they gave me. I worked for a wide range of clients on different types of projects. Qual IT acknowledges hard work unlike many other consultancies where you need to aggressively pursue pay rises and career development opportunities. They also have a fantastic culture with regular get togethers and a healthy work life balance.

At the time I thought the beer selection could be improved! I really didn't appreciate how good I had it until I worked for other consultancies in NZ and Australia.
