Steady job. Good pay. Great Benefits. Overtime most of the year. Some on-site medical staff and pharmacy, depending on what plant.
Cons
Hard work. Factory environment. Value is based on what hours you work. Upward mobility is limited. Choose your friends wisely. No sick days. Rotating 12hr shift schedule (Ends of the week and days to nights) with mandatory OT during peak times. Limited training. Pick it up or get out. (Pick up the job, pick up the pace or you're out). Cut backs in personal caused a shortage of positions for all skill levels and abilities.
