Pros
Paid Weekly. Most of the year there is enough overtime so that you can survive. 401k match (until they cut that benefit again). Steel toes company has yearly $50 reimbursement (until they make it two years again) Learn one of the operator positions and it's a good stable job.
Cons
Negativity. Leaders. Work Schedule. Rotates nights to days and both ends of the week several times a year. Training program isn't implemented well, while corp keeps changing it. They pay of the low side compared to other types of production facilities, because in printing the competitive bidding on work contracts has caused us to not make very much per job like they used to. The raises are pathetic. They had more benefits before, like OT started at 36. That got cut, now it's after 40. Most of the extra benefits that offsets working in an unhappy facility diminished over time because the company is trying to stay competitive.
