Pros

Qosina employees never work early or late. You will arrive and leave the office at the same time everyday. Travel requirements are little to none. Employees are expected to take a lunch break each day. Benefits are average/ok. Annual raises are pretty predictable.

Cons

Management takes a "show up and shut up" attitude toward employees. Management makes it clear that they are buying an employee's time, not their intelligence, skill set or capabilities. What they do with that time is entirely up to them. Management/professional employees may find themselves doing completely unskilled busy work for hours on end. There are too many employees in proportion to work demands -- I found myself idle for much of the day pretty regularly. You may think that you can take some of your idle time and put it toward new ideas and endeavors that would help the company generate more business. However, your efforts will not be taken as initiative, they will be considered a threat to the current power structure with resulting consequences. Bullying and intimidation are common practice. Management doesn't know how to motivate people without resorting to threats or belittling behavior. Bonuses consist of small bills, cosmetic samples and odd fruit. Yes, it's true, the owner will occasionally pass out small amounts of money ($5-$50) to employees as a reminder that you're there to make money, just not very much. Additionally, he passes out exotic fruit and the occasional ice cream though I really don't why. The most highly valued employee trait at this company is punctuality. In fact, managers advise employees to take the whole day off if they think they will even be even ten minutes late. If you are not observed coming into the building before works starts at 8:30am, the CEO herself will start dialing your desk and manager to figure out where you are. Unless you enjoy punishing micromanagement, coming in to work to find that someone has obviously been rifling through your desk, and dealing with a complete lack of professionalism at all levels, stay away. I certainly wish I did.

Pros

The work environment at Qosina is pleasant with a good work/life balance. Most people are friendly and make the day-to-day enjoyable. There are opportunities to work remotely with a flexible schedule. Management is focused on investing in the company, and providing opportunities for learning and growth. There is a great amount of longevity amongst employees, suggesting that people are happy and that this is a great place to work.

Cons

Communication silos exist, especially between leadership and employees with boots on the ground. It is sometimes tedious to get things done, involving many layers of bureaucracy that needlessly exist in an organization of this size.

Pros

You can do whatever you want and no one really cares. You can switch departments or get promoted with zero experience and in some cases unqualified.

Cons

Management is incompetent. No one really knows what goes on in each department. Too many unqualified individuals pretending to be professional. They do surveys and hold meeting in an attempt to show the CEO they care about there employees when in actuality nothing is ever improved and no one follows through. The problem is upper management is idealistic, I've seen promotions based purely off senority. It's a shame because the family who owns the company genuinely care but they get smoke and mirrors in an attempt to distract them from the fact the company could be far more successful if management didn't take advantage . There's a small percentage of great hard working intelligent employees, and a large percent of people who just look to collect a check. It doesn't matter how many holiday parties you do or how many BBQs you put together, there's a clear disconnect on every level of management , between each other and employees.
