Pros

If you want to live the “fake it till you make it” lifestyle, here it is!

Cons

Work life balance, non existent. Have you ever had a job that you’re crawling to Friday hoping for the weekend? But then on Sunday counting down the hours until you have to start back up on Monday? All the while during the weekend you’re still thinking about how your boss treated you in a meeting or how he treated one of your peers and wondering if you’re next. The KPI’s for a Director of Sales at QisstPay are 100 calls outbound and 50 emails/per day. Jordan Olivas (the CEO) promised that he wasn’t a micro-manager, a hybrid 3 day in office work week 10am-3pm, and strong compensation based on the merchants we signed. They were all lies. Jordan either doesn’t know what a micromanager is or he is a liar (again ask any US employee to confirm). That 3 day hybrid 10am-3pm changed for me specifically when Jordan slacked me that I will be going into the office from 8am-5pm every day (quite the change, almost seems like he would be trying to force someone to quit). The strong compensation was to be OTE 300-500k/year, my base was $120k and the commission was based on transactions from the merchants I’ve signed. Due to lack of focus on implementation 3 of the 50+ merchants went live (ironically the ONLY merchants to date that QisstPay has live in the US are mine: thefinelineent, 23vitals, and the 3rd live merchant churned) so I basically worked on all of those merchants for free. Jordan promised we’d be working with and signing merchants that did thousands of transactions per day (this was promised 6+ months ago) but yet to this day QisstPay hasn’t even done a total of 100 transactions with all their merchants combined in the USA. If all of that wasn’t enough red flags the employee drop off globally is something else to look at QisstPay has lost 1/3 of its workforce in less than 6 months with multiple people quitting every week.
