Pros
Continuously improving and optimizing the integration of multidisciplinary teams in a face-paced environment in order to develop and commercialize a positioning and immobilization product for patients to undergo an array of imaging techniques, specifically for cancer treatments. The experience was an incredible opportunity to work daily alongside experienced manufacturing technicians, senior design engineers, and manufacturing engineers. It was a constant learning environment provided by these technicians and engineers about what I will be able to apply for whatever path my career takes me and mainly help the company in the present. The company also provided a great opportunity for all interns or co-ops that I had the opportunity to work alongside to gain knowledge in the corporation itself, as well as what peaked their interest in their studies and how it can be applied in the company and the real world, something I had not previously been given at a previous co-op.
Cons
From having been there for the period that I was, the only area of improvement would be communication with other teams or groups of team members of the corporation. Other than that it was a very productive work environment that I would recommend to those who are looking for employment to apply.
