Pros
Qurate Retail Group is comprised of 7 brands, the largest of which is QVC. It is a global organization with multiple business units so there is plenty of room for internal career growth, which is encouraged. The culture is collaborative and team-focused with some of the nicest, brightest people to work with. When we were in person, the atmosphere at the corp HQ was high energy and fun, and the workspace inspired ideas, creativity and open communication.
Cons
The company has grown tremendously over the years and with that comes various layers and bureaucracy. The business model is very complex. It takes upwards of a year for new people to fully grasp everything and learn how to navigate to get things done. The pace is intense making it challenging to find work / life balance; you have to set boundaries.
