Pros

A (2) week sabatical after 5 years. (52) Work From Home days.

Cons

QTS is a dry company. You must love to hear about how God makes everything possible. Don't ask to be remote. They will say you are just a number and can be easily replaced.

Thank you for taking the time to highlight a few aspects of QTS’ work environment and culture. Support of Family, Faith, and Community are part of QTS’ Core Values and align with our culture through our benefits, rewards, and recognition programs. One of these programs is our Q-Rest Sabbatical Program: a two, four, or six week sabbatical at their 5-year service milestones (basis tenure). Another program, as you note, is our flex work from home program. Eligible positions have the ability to work up to 52 days per year from their home to support additional structured flexibility. We also value being together in-person to support each other, expand mentoring, enable succession planning, and speed to execution. Though we have a predominantly in-office workforce, certain positions in the company may be eligible for a remote arrangement with travel as business needs necessitate. In addition, we encourage all QTSers from all walks and backgrounds to bring their whole selves to work, and feel that we are stronger when we can come alongside each other in support of mission and purpose, aligned with our core values. As such, we spend a lot of time with candidates throughout the interview process, to ensure both QTS and candidates have been able to fully assess whether we are the right fit for each other basis career aspirations and business needs. Preserving our world-class retention scores and our special culture are top of mind for ensuring QTS continues to be a great place for employees to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Pros

The company's benefits are generous and it shows they invest in their employees. The culture is very positive, with a very team-oriented goal, but with an ownership mindset.

Cons

Work life balance can be tough. The company growth is so rapid, there's a high volume of work.

Rampant Growth - Industry as a whole is expanding very fast. Giving new opportunities for movement Environmental stewards - Leader in sustainable data centers with closed loop cooling. Community driven - Constantly have volunteer opportunities available and actively looking for more Teamwork - From at work, to at home; Your coworkers, managers, and executives actually care about you. They want to know who you are and are genuine in their interactions. CEO's will actively strive to learn your name... so it still has the small company vibe, but it is getting bigger fast.

Cons

Growing pains - Rapid growth and expansion have left some policies in need of polishing/creating. With the rapid growth there is upward mobility that leaves production vacuums behind. Good/Bad - the expansion doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
