Pros
-Pay check every week
-weight loss from no breaks and lifting up 50 pounds of paper
Cons
- My boss didn’t know who I was and he hired me. I overherd him asking someone “Who is that. Who is (name)” . Not only is this unprofessional at the core, it’s a bad reflection to the employees your supposed to be empowering and leading.
-I’ve never witnessed such a lack of respect, gratitude, and morals in my life. Till this day, I can get the image of the owner cursing, yelling, and berating this grandfatherly man until this face was bright red with purplish veins with anger.
-The filing system is an unorganized mess. From the actual files to the method use to file those files away.
I had to lift up hundreds of sheets of paper to slide one sheet under. Look up CAD paper rolls on google (50x500) , it’s 40 pounds per roll. Imagine lifting up hundred of those things every day for hours just to put ONE paper under and then trying to slide everything back into the drawer with out any bumps or else the other clerical girl will yell at you.
- Get ready for some serious attitude for no reason. I promise you that you’ll end up leaving for the day so confused as to why the lady training you is so rude to you. One second she’s so nice - the other she’s being incredibly nasty.
- No communication at all. Zero. While training I was told one thing from someone and another thing from someone else.
-You’ll have like 50 pages of notes, each page a different thing you have to do everyday. Honestly there should be four office personals because the work load is way too much to be shared between two people. I worked there for months and I couldnt remember everything because it was so many things.
I honestly can’t express more how miserable I was working here.I’d go home defeated, sometimes to the point of tears. The filling system was just too much, all those papers, scanning and saving each individual one, then lifting up hundreds of paper, saving every email you sent, printing it out and then finding one book out of HUNDREDS of books. It took one hour to do a task that would take 10 minutes at any other place. The girls that worked there, two of them fought Ike wild animals, the lady training you was so hostile, rude, and nasty that I wanted to walk out everyday. This place broke my spirit. Don’t let a few dollars compromise your mental health and ambitions.
I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.
