Pros
The people. Everyone is so hard-working and intelligent – which you would expect – but I've been so pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming compassion, friendliness, and genuine sense of care I feel amongst the entire team. We are a diverse, mission-driven group of people committed to transforming the hiring process. I'm so grateful for the autonomy I've been granted in my role – the company heavily emphasizes individual creativity, i.e. your ideas and personal experimentation are encouraged, while still maintaining a culture of collaboration. Transparency is also everpresent, i.e. communication between your team, superiors, and the company is always crystal clear and any and all suggestions are fair game. The energy in our office is unsurpassed. Great work-life balance. Immeasurable room for career development and growth.
Cons
Have little to zero cons of working at pymetrics. Wish I could give more constructive criticism. Could improve upon some of the compensation/benefits (though we're pretty competitive with other startups of our age). Ideas like 401k match, gym/health stipend, maybe some catered meals now and then.
