Pros
In depth training...they had to though as you spend your time in this role up selling add-on packages to sellers so that you can get a whopping $20 here and $30 there to top up the $100 flat fee they pay you to service an appointment.
Cons
The pay is awful. They only tell you the potential earnings in training but I struggled financially a lot in this role. Not what you should be doing with a real estate license. You are not an agent. You are just someone with access to MLS who can pull comparables to determine pricing. Lots of physical strain too - photo taking properties yourself, lugging around signs in your car, including a hammer and a drill, spending hours typing up recap notes after each appointment and all for terribke pay. $100 per appointment!? There were weeks when I was only getting 2 appointments! Struggling to pay my rent! Take your skills and the hours you spent studying to get your license to a real brokerage where you can be an independent contractor and make actual commission. In this role you are just an outside sales person and it sucked!
