Pros

Great office location in Boulder, CO 7-hour days /35 hour work weeks and benefits. I worked for Pure Strategic for 6 years and have nothing but fantastic things to say about the founder of the agency and my co-workers. The founder constantly strives to provide a great culture, work-life balance, growth, and always treats each employee fairly and with respect. I highly recommend working with Pure Strategic. Pure Strategic has a great client portfolio and a sterling reputation in the industry.

Cons

You get to eat and taste delicious food from clients

Pros

Most of the employees are nice and talented.

Cons

Good resume builder, but the emotional stress and anxiety was excessive. Owner/President, Chris, is way too involved and clearly wants to be a good boss but his egomaniacal ways prevent him from having the self-awareness to see that nothing he thinks about the company culture is actually true. He is irrational and has no control of his emotions, plus he surrounds himself with "yes men" so no one ever tells him the truth. If you try to stand up to him he won't listen and you'll get shot down and belittled/demeaned in an emotional outburst. Even writing this, I was hesitant because I'm afraid of him taking out his anger on the current employees, as he can't take any criticism and will try to deflect. However, I think people need to know what they are signing up for. Also, education is not a priority and there are no opportunities (other than "mentoring" by Chris) so you have to learn on your personal time. Even when you learn on your own, Chris is not open to new ideas or any evolution/modernization (again, he only tolerates "yes men" and doesn't listen). Finally, he underpays for industry standards.
