Pros

Complimentary sports and yoga classes

Cons

During my time at PURE head office, I had the misfortune of working with Ms. Jie Sun, the CMO, under numerous different occasions. Ms. Sun's behavior was extremely toxic, characterized by frequent angry outbursts and unpredictable behavior. She was known to belittle her own team members as well as those from other departments during meetings. Her communication style was often hostile, arrogant and condescending, leading to a highly toxic work environment whenever she was present. As a C-suite executive who represents the public face of PURE, Ms. Sun's abusive behavior is unprofessional and damaging to the company's morale and brand image. Countless times, PURE colleagues and vendors have been subject to her yelling, sudden outbursts and unprofessional demeanor. Furthermore, her leadership is lacking and her guidelines are vague, making it difficult for employees to succeed under her guidance.

Pros

Studio are beautiful with diverse classes and good facilities, there are cool trainings and workshops Opportunities to work with many types of people

Cons

Management often fails to address our concerns in a timely manner, usually trying to dogde issues by 'delegating' to others. This lack of support creates inefficiency and a stressful work environment and contributed to many staffs decision to leave The studio’s approach to scheduling and class assignments was inconsistent depending on the instructors and PTs they favoured by management, with frequent changes that led to a lack of stability and continuity for students who can even tell who they are biased towards Communication was often difficult with frequent changes in rules and events, creating lack of clarity regarding class schedules and updates The closure of the Suntec outlet and other operational issues reflects poorly on the company’s stability and long-term vision, the CEO is always changing Overall, employee well-being was definitely not a priority and the focus was more on short-term operational issues to cover their own mistakes rather than long-term staff support and retention Losing market share in the competitive fitness space so I'm not surprised if they have to pull out of Singapore soon since no money has been made -- It's always Hong Kong side helping out Lack of culture and teamwork as everyone is just there to take salary at the end of the month. Nobody actually cares about each other
