Pros

- Exposure to messy, high-volume real-world data gives you “warzone” experience that tests your patience and problem-solving.

Cons

- No Engineering Mindset: The company treats data engineering as glorified SQL scripting. There’s no modern tooling, no ETL, and no orchestration — everything runs through SQL and Windows Scheduler. - Toxic, Politically-Charged Culture: Leadership roles are often filled based on internal alliances or family ties rather than competence. - Zero Technical Leadership or Direction: No clear strategy for data, cloud, or AI. Goals shift frequently with no accountability. - AI Hype, No ROI - Poor Work-Life Balance & Compensation: Expect calls on weekends, holidays, and during leave. Compensation is not aligned with market rates. - No Diversity or Inclusion: The dominant language and internal culture revolve around Hindi/Urdu. If you’re not part of that circle, integration is harder. - Image Over Impact: More focus is placed on how the company looks to authorities than on delivering actual value in healthcare or longevity. - Feedback Ignored: Constructive feedback is treated as confrontation. Internal politics consistently override logic or collaboration. - Constructive feedback is neither welcomed nor acted upon, and internal politics override collaboration and performance. - Unequal Pay: Colleagues in the same role and level often have vastly different salaries, with no clear structure or justification.
