      Pros

      Competitive pay, great benefits, quick progression and ability to transfer to different sites across the country if needing to relocate. Free membership allows you to train in the gym when travelling. Good job security.

      Cons

      Will have to work Bank Holidays and days such as Easter and Christmas unless booked off as annual leave. High turn-over of staff in relation to PT/FC due to rent. When in gym management work to life balance starts to diminish.

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
