Pros

You get to work with amazing people who genuinely care for you and want to make you better. The pay is relatively decent although with the demand from the top it should be more.

Cons

Most clubs understaffed due to the Personal Trainer model not adjusting with the industry meaning working hours can be very unfair. 50/60+ hour working weeks with out being able to claim it back or get it paid. As the company gets bigger the culture has moved backwards and I do worry the company has lost sight of what makes it great to work for.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.

We can see that you may be working with us currently, so would suggest that you reach out to either your Regional Manager or your HR Business Partner who will do their best to support.
